Smoking in general is a disgusting 'habit'. I say 'habit' in quotations because I know from experience that the pull of nicotene is not that strong and overbearing as most smokers like to believe. This behaviour is made more revolting when combined with an overweight person.
The sight of an obese person with a fag hanging from their mouth makes me cringe. The two seperately are fine, however when combined; yuck. The thing that gets me is the thought of the arteries of these people and knowing that cigarettes are an appetite suppressant emphasises the terrible eating patterns these people have forced themselves to learn. I can only imagine the already over worked heart struggling to pump blood through fat clogged blood vessels.
Maybe its not detest, perhaps its pity that these people abuse themselves further and don't appreciate their bodies. But in saying that I really do hate seeing fat people smoking.

Smoking is horrible, agreed.
ReplyDeleteFat people smoking... well, I dislike them as much as skinny people smoking... people smoking in general bugs me. Srsly, I'll take three huge steps away from smokers so I can actually BREATHE without the fumes clogging up my nostrils and choking me to death. Slow.. painful death... hey, secondhand smoke kills too. (:
I think smoking is such a fantastically ironic issue. From on angle theirs the fact that the Government spends money on anti campaigns, yet the majority of their revenue is sourced from the taxes in place for the product. No way in HELL would they make cigarettes illegal because this would fuck them fiscally, yet they try to argue that the taxes in place are there to encourage a reduction in the consumption of the product.
ReplyDeleteSECONDLY there are those people who spend money on slowly killing themselves. Clever right?! hah
